As promised, here is the first part of my tips and strategies in referral management and maximizing my earnings in Neobux, the number 1 PTC site to-date. I will be breaking down my Neobux tips and strategies in managing referrals into different categories/topics just to keep everything organized.

These articles will be a bit wordy for some people, but I’ll be using images to further illustrate what I’m explaining. I just want to be clear that all these Neobux tips and strategies are based on my experience as a Neobux member. That’s why I can be a bit narrative in some parts.

So, here’s the breakdown or the parts of this Neobux guide:

These tips are based on what I did as a Standard member. I made some mistakes during those times that I hope you all can learn from. This part of the guide will also focus on Standard members who are planning on upgrading their account. I will share tips in preparation for your upgrade to Golden.

This is the final part of the guide where I share with you how I manage my referrals presently and how I maximize my earnings from them while still investing for recycling and renting.

Introduction

I started as a Neobux member back in 2008. As I know that I needed to refer people so I can earn more, I started my blog, PTC Site Reviews. I managed to gain about 40+ direct referrals through that blog before I finally decided to upgrade my Neobux account.

Here are a few details about my Neobux membership, as of October 24, 2010:

I am currently a Neobux Golden member. I upgraded in February 2010 and paid $90.00 for the Golden membership.

As of this writing, I have 96 Neobux direct referrals.
I actually managed to gain 100+ direct referrals, but, some of them stopped clicking so they all were automatically deactivated by Neobux. Some might have been suspended. I am getting new referrals daily and I’m hoping they’ll be all active and stay honest so they’ll continue helping me make more money online with Neobux.

I currently have 207 rented referrals and I have no plans of renting more (yet).
I only got 4 ads daily when I was still a Standard member and 9 ads daily now that I’m a Golden member – this is the default number of ads available for each membership.

Most of my tips on this strategy guide will focus on referral management in Neobux as this has been the concern of most Neobux members. But, I will also provide general tips all throughout the articles.

As much as possible, I won’t use a lot of complicated computations that can confuse you. I am writing and sharing my Neobux tips and strategies for NEWBIES or those who are not that familiar yet with Paid to Click sites. But, along the way, I’ll be using a little (I promise) Math just to show you what I mean.

I will also be sharing with you the Excel spreadsheet I use so you can monitor your investments in Neobux. That way, you’ll know if you’re close to getting your investments back or you’re already losing a lot of money. It’s a very simple Excel spreadsheet – just so you know how much more you need to earn back before you can say you’re already earning profits from Neobux.

I have started a Referral Exchange thread at our Facebook group page – Pinoy Online Money Makers. Feel free to join and post your referral links.

Here’s how it works:
1. Post your referral links. Post your conditions, too, if any.
2. Read through others’ posts and check which sites you haven’t joined yet.
3. If you find a site you haven’t joined yet, offer the person who posted it to join 1 of your programs/sites as your referral and you’ll join one of his/hers.
4. As much as possible, only join 1 site per person. Give chance to others.
5. In the end, everyone who posted should be someone else’s referral.
This is another great way for you to gain referrals.

I started the thread with my need for referrals for FriendFinder. So, please go visit our Facebook group page. Although our group is named Pinoy Online Money Makers, it’s actually open for everyone who’s making money online.

How to Manage PTC Site Referrals

Once you’ve gained your referrals through the numerous ways I’ve mentioned on my guide on how to get referrals, let me help you manage them properly. It’s important that you learn how to manage your referrals as they’re your means of getting all your investments back and for you to earn more.

Before anything else, you have to remember that your referrals are ACTUAL HUMAN BEINGS who are like you – they also have their own lives. Some of them may not be as active as you want them to be but you have to take into consideration that they have to live their lives. I’ll get back to this topic later on.

Now, let me give you some tips on how to manage and maximize your earnings from your referrals:

Upgrade Your Account As Soon As You Can
Upgrading your account pays for itself by increasing the amount of money you get from your referrals. Most PTC sites pay you 100% referral commission when you upgrade. So, this will help you reach the minimum payout faster.

There are 2 ways that you can upgrade your account but not all PTC sites offer both. Make sure you only upgrade your account at reliable or trusted PTC sites to ensure you get your money’s worth. I suggest you wait ’til you get paid about 3-5 times before you upgrade. But, for sites like Neobux, I strongly suggest you upgrade as soon as you can.

Upgrade your account through your Paypal or Alertpay account.
If you already have enough balance on your Paypal or Alertpay account, then, you can use it to pay for your upgrade or premium membership. You also have to note that some PTC sites offer discounts to members who pay through Paypal or Alertpay instead of their balance.

Upgrade your account through your balance.
If you don’t want to shell out any money from your Paypal or Alertpay account, then, you can choose to pay through your current balance. Again, some PTC sites have higher prices for those who choose this method.

For me, though, I strongly recommend you pay through your Paypal or Alertpay account. Why? Because this will also help the PTC site make money to keep the site on longer. How come? Well, if they don’t have money to send payments to their members, they’ll close the site soon enough. Trust me. But, then, again, make sure you only upgrade or purchase anything from RELIABLE PTC sites like the ones I recommend here.

Click Everyday, As Much As Possible
I know, this can be hard for some people. I can’t even click everyday myself. And that’s okay. But as much as possible, click everyday as your clicks or how often you click will directly affect your earnings from your referrals. Most PTC sites have a very strict policy about referral commission. For instance, if you don’t click today, you won’t get any referral commission tomorrow. So, if you have LOTS of referrals, make sure you click everyday or have someone who you trust to click for you but make sure they don’t have their own account with your PTC sites.

Do Not Purchase Referrals – Just Rent Them
Again, do not purchase or buy referrals. Just rent them. This is the best way for you to manage your referrals. If you have a very active or a referral you want to keep, you can simply extend your rental for that member. You won’t have to worry about getting stuck with the same inactive referrals and you also maximize your profits.

Recycle Inactive Referrals
Once you’ve rented referrals from your PTC sites, make sure you check their activity or click history. This way, you’ll know which ones need to go or who you should keep. Now, let me remind you that your referrals have their own lives to live. So, take that into consideration before you recycle away.

Let me share with you what I do. I give my referrals 3-4 days of inactivity. On the 3rd or 4th day, I’ll recycle them. Sometimes, especially when they’re almost close to the end of the rental period, I recycle them after 2-3 days of inactivity. But, most of the time, I just leave them on my rented referral list because it won’t be practical to recycle them anymore, especially when they’ve got less than 10 days left. If you’re a Standard or Free member, I suggest stop recycling when there are only 10 days left.

Some PTC sites also have this feature wherein you can send messages to your referrals, rented and direct. Most of the time, if you send them a message, they’ll receive a notification to their email so they’ll get your message for sure. This is one way to remind them to click. Make sure you ask nicely okay? They’re not your employees. They’re just like you. At the end of the day, everyone is someone else’s referral.

Delete Inactive Direct Referrals
Aside from recycling referrals, you can also manage your direct referrals (those who clicked your referral links and/or joined the site under your name), especially when there’s a set limit that you can have depending on your membership. However, you have to note that once you delete them, they’re gone forever and they’ll be added to the pool of members up for rental. So, make sure you only delete those who have been inactive for the longest time.

Another thing to note is that, like what I mentioned earlier, most PTC sites have a limit for the number of direct referrals that you can have, depending on your membership. For instance, with Neobux, Standard members are only given a limit of 30 direct referrals. If you see that you’re almost at that number of direct referrals, delete those that are inactive for the longest time to give room to new referrals. And, this direct referral limit is also one reason you should upgrade your membership with reliable/trusted PTC sites, especially when you’re getting a lot of direct referrals.

Those are just a few of the things that you have to take note when managing your direct and rented referrals so you can maximize your earnings from them. I hope these tips would be helpful to you.

How to Get Downline/Referrals for your Money Making Programs

There are a hundred ways that you can get referrals for your downline on your PTC sites or to advertise your affiliate programs. I’ll just feature the most popular and easiest ways for you to get more referrals so you can earn more from your money-making programs.

Get Referrals Through Your Blog or Website
This way of getting referrals isn’t the easiest but it sure works and is very effective. All you need is to setup your own blog or website and post all your referral links and affiliate programs on there.

My most recommended free Blog site provider today is Blogger. Your blog’s domain and address will end with blogspot.com though. However, if you want to start your blog right away and you want convenience in setting it up and updating it, then, go for Blogger. You’ll still have full control of your blog and the contents.

Also, don’t just put all your referral links on your blog. Make it look professional and interesting. Try to write something that could convince people to join your PTC sites. And, as much as possible, be as truthful as you can.

Lastly, make sure you also post YOUR OWN payment proofs so people will see that earning from your PTC sites is actually possible.

Get Referrals Through Facebook and Other Social Networking Sites

Pinoy Online Money Makers Facebook Group

If you already have a Facebook account, why not use it to advertise your blog or post your referral links? You can also join other Facebook groups and post your referral links there. At my Facebook Group page – Pinoy Online Money Makers – you simply join the group and you can post your referral links for everyone who visits the page to see.

Now, aside from Facebook, you can also take advantage of other Social Networking sites such as Friendster, MySpace, and FriendFinder sites to promote your referral links. You can invite your friends to join your money-making programs so you can also earn from them as your direct referrals. This is the easiest way for you to gain referrals. Be careful, though, not to spam.

Get Referrals Through Twitter

Another way for you get referrals is through Twitter. All you have to do is sign up for an account, follow people that you know have a lot of followers and post a reply to them by typing in @ followed by their Twitter username – for example, @PinayMoneyMaker. Make sure, though, that one you’re following is related to your blog or making money online so you won’t be tagged as spamming Twitter.

Also, you can follow me on Twitter – @PinayMoneyMaker – and we can Re-Tweet each others posts so your referral links would reach others who are following me, and vice versa. To start Re-Tweeting with me, follow me on Twitter, type in “RT @PinayMoneyMaker” followed by a re-post of any tweets that I posted recently. I’ll then Re-tweet any of your recent posts.

Get Referrals Through Referral Exchange Sites
There are a lot of sites that you can join to get referral links. One of the best sites I’ve seen is GetReferral.

What’s best about GetReferral is they’re much like a PTC site, where you also view ads or websites and you earn points that you can later on use to get referrals for your money-making programs. They have a huge list of money-making programs/sites on their site.

Once you have enough points to use, make sure you decide on your requirements for those who’ll be joining under you. For example, you can require them to click for 3 straight days before you pay them. Make sure you check regularly to see if someone already signed up under you through GetReferral so you can pay them right away.

Another way for you to earn points through GetReferral is to join other people’s money-making programs. This can earn you more points and it’s faster. But, you have to take note that they also have requirements before they pay you or give you your points. Also, you have to make sure you click on the referral links on GetReferral and not go to the site directly to sign up. Otherwise, you won’t get credited.

Another Referral Exchange site that I’m using is DownlineRefs. They work the same way as GetReferral – you can click on member ads, too, to earn credits that you can use to advertise your website or to get people to sign up under your money-making programs.

Get Referrals Through Posting in Forums/Discussion Boards
This is another effective way for you to get referrals. All you need to do is sign up with different online forums and join in the discussions. Then, place your referral links or blog address on your signature. However, you have to make sure that you’re not violating any rules or policies on forum signatures.

One way for you to get faster referrals through this method is to be active in the forums and not just join and post nonsense replies to threads. Why? Because if you do, you lose potential referrals because they’ll look at you as just another spammer.

I suggest you also sign up with MyLot where you can also earn through being active on their site, posting sensibly in their forums, completing numerous tasks, etc.

Get Referrals Through Posting at Ad Networks

Advertise through Ad networks and Sulit

There are a lot of free ad networks or websites that you can join where you can post your referral links or affiliate programs. One of the most popular ways is through Sulit.com.ph. Why? Because Sulit gets a lot of traffic and they actually top the SERP (search engine results page) on almost any keyword that users posted an ad for.

All you have to do is join Sulit then post a Free Ad. Write something to convince people to join your PTC sites through your referral links. You can even advertise your blog or website on Sulit. It’ll help you gain more visits or traffic. You can also setup your Sulit website with all the referral links you have. As an example, here’s mine: blankPixels @ Sulit.

Advertise through other PTC sites
Most Aurora sites (TheClickers PTC, VelvetClicks, CashHarvest, EgyptianClicks, CashSwing, etc) also pay their members advertisement points that they can use to post their own websites or referral links/banners. You can even buy ad space so you can get more traffic or clicks on your referral links. Or if you want, you can just advertise your blog or website with all your referral links.

These Aurora PTC sites also offer Clicks Exchange where you’ll get traffic or visit points that you can use to advertise your blog/referral links or website. Most of them offer a 1:1 ratio, meaning when you visit one website, you get one visit in exchange for it. Make sure you check your Account details page to check if you have advertising credits that you can use.

Get Referrals by Purchasing or Renting
This is one of the best ways for you to get referrals. You won’t have to worry about setting up your blog, joining different sites, etc. All you have to do is earn enough money to purchase or rent referrals from your PTC sites.

Most PTC sites only offer rentals of referrals. This is actually the best way to go. Do not purchase referrals as you cannot be sure if they’ll be all active or not. Simply rent referrals and only keep those that are worth keeping.

Note, however, that it’s best that you are already an Upgraded or Premium member at your PTC sites so you can maximize your earnings from your referrals.
