PalmBux moved to Scam Sites List

I knew this was coming…

I have moved Palmbux PERMANENTLY to my Scam Sites list.

Here’s a screenshot of the statement from the admin. I decided to take a screenshot just in case the thread “magically” disappears *grin*. Click to zoom in.

Palmbux now a Scam Site - Click to zoom in - PinayOnlineMoneyMaker.net

You can also check out the forum thread here. You need to login to see the post.

The first time I posted here about Palmbux’s Paypal account getting frozen was back in January 2010. They managed to get their account restored. But, this time around, I don’t think they’re even planning on fixing their Paypal account.

Palmbux also implemented automatically charging members an advertising fee when withdrawing their funds, which is the same as requiring members to invest on the site to receive payment – a clear sign of a scam site.

I just find it funny that the admin is claiming that they are not earning anything from their site. They said “Payments are to 100%, what we receive we send it out“, which I highly doubt is true. Who, in his right mind, would stay to keep a PTC site running without earning a single cent from it?! He said this has been happening for months now. WOW.

If you ask me, PalmBux is just trying to hook or fool more people by coming out with the truth, like they’re now being honest to all the members. C’mon! You’re just doing that so people won’t leave your site and they’ll all agree to reset all the balances to zero. I’ve seen that before! And that site is now on my Scam Sites list.

What I’m doing now with PalmBux is continue clicking for the advertising credits. But, as soon as they reset the balance to zero, I’m out. And, please, let’s stop making excuses for them. Palmbux is now a scam site and the admin doesn’t seem to really care about all the money the members have lost. I just wish there’s some way Paypal can show us the real status of Palmbux’s account with them. I bet they’re now running away with thousands of dollars from their members.

For now, check out my complete list of trusted online money-making sites.

PalmBux Charges 10% Advertising Fees Upon Paypal Withdrawal

Palmbux has implemented higher fees when you withdraw earnings from them. According to them, it’s part of the 3-step program to bring back instant payments. I’m a bit skeptical about these changes, but, I guess we really have to see if what they’re saying is true. For now, I don’t recommend you upgrading or even investing in Palmbux.

Here’s my take on this 3-step program (read more details at their forums):

  • For months, Palmbux has implemented cash flow regulation. According to them, it was because of the Anti-Money Laundering Act that affected their business. They said they implemented it to limit cashouts so they can continue to use Paypal as one of their payment processors. My take: I still believe that one of the reasons they implemented this cash flow regulation is to make it hard for members to withdraw their money. I’ll only believe them completely once they bring back instant payments for good.
  • ADVERTISING FEE. They are now charging members advertising fees during withdrawals. According to them, this is to ensure that the cycle continues and members get more ads to click. They charge 10% for Paypal withdrawals, a whooping 16% for Alertpay. Crazy, right?!My take: This is like other PTC sites that require their members to invest before they can withdraw their earnings. I don’t like this at all. They claim that this should be all good since members will continue to have ads to click while still earning. But, 10% and 16% is freaking too much! They claim that Palmbux is bigger than any other site that’s why they have more tax restrictions and management values, which I completely doubt. So, I don’t really recommend investing with Palmbux.

What do you think of these changes they implemented on Palmbux? I don’t understand why a lot of members are happy with these updates. Let me know what you think, aight?

PalmBux is also one of my highly recommended PTC sites because they pay INSTANTLY. I don’t really recommend upgrading with them but you can continue on as a Standard member and still earn a lot from PalmBux.

My first payment for the New Year! Yayy!

There have been issues with payments with PalmBux because they now limited the amount of cashouts made everyday. I had doubts that they are still continuously paying so I really stayed up ’til 7am here in the PH to see if I can successfully request payment… and, voila! Here it is! I received it in less than 10 seconds!

So, continue clicking with PalmBux. I still highly recommend them because of their instant payments. Just wait ’til their server time hits 12:00am GMT because that’s when the payment request option is enabled again.

PalmBux Payment Proof – $5.90 on 11/14/2009

PalmBux is also one of my highly recommended PTC sites because they pay INSTANTLY. I don’t really recommend upgrading with them but you can continue on as a Standard member and still earn a lot from PalmBux.

I just requested for this payment a few seconds ago and I was shocked that I got it in my Paypal account in less than 5 seconds! I thought there’s going to be some delay as they’re still fixing their website but it seems everything’s working okay.

PTC Site Review – PalmBux – (Pending Watch List)

Earning Potential as a Standard Member:
  • $0.008 per click or ad you view.
  • $0.005 per referral click.
Upgrading to Premium:
Average # of Ads Available to Standard Members:
  • 4 to 5 ads daily
Managing Referrals:
  • You need to click at least 3 ads as a Standard member or at least 8 ads as a Premium member to receive ALL clicks from your referrals. I suggest you click ALL to maximize your referral earnings.
  • Direct referrals limit for Standard is 25, 75 for Premium. You can have more when you upgrade your membership. Take note that they charge $0.10 for every direct referral that you delete. This is what I don’t like about them. I have deleted about 10 direct referrals because of their limit. I don’t want to upgrade yet to their Premium account so I have no choice but to delete some of my direct referrals. I hope they have a way of increasing the direct referrals.
  • You can rent referrals for $0.30 each for 30 days. If you’re just starting, once you have $0.30 on your account, you can rent 1 referral immediately to help you get to the cashout limit faster.
  • Rented referral limit for Standard members is 1,500. However, you can only rent 100 refs every 7 days.
  • Referrals are not always available for rentals so you have to take note of the times they release or update the rental queue.
  • They only offer referrals for rental when they’ve been active for the last 4 days. Good, right? This will actually help ensure that you get active referrals once you rent them.
Payouts – When & How to Withdraw Earnings:
  • Minimum cashout is $2.00. It increases by $2.00 every cashout until it reaches the fixed limit of $8.00.
  • Payments are INSTANT. However, on your first cashout, they will audit your account and you have to wait for about 7 days to receive your first payment. After this, though, all cashouts will be INSTANT.
  • You can request payments to be sent through Paypal (highly recommended) or AlertPay. The processing fee for Paypal is 8.5%, 10% for AlertPay.
  • Members from China, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan and Hongkong need to upgrade to Premium to request for cashout.
Additional Info & Features:
  • You can setup a secondary password for added security to your account.
  • They have this Daily Contest wherein they take $0.003 from your balance when you click your ads and they’ll give all the accumulated amount to a random active clicker. I turned off this option on my account because I’d rather keep the money than give it to some random member. Plus, consider the odds of me winning it. But, if you want to take that chance, you can leave it on. If you want to turn it off, go to the Games menu once you’re logged in and click on Daily Contest -> click on Turn Off.
  • They have this feature where you can set your account on Vacation and you will still earn money from your referrals even when you don’t click daily. However, there’s a limit on the number of days that they’ll allow your account to be set on vacation, depending on your membership. For Standard members, you can only use this feature for 2 days. Take note also that once your account is set on Vacation mode, you will be logged out and your account will be inaccessible for the number of days you have set it to vacation mode.
It’s a very cool feature, if I may say, because you’d get 100% referral earnings. I wish other PTC sites could have this feature, too.
Payment Proofs:
What I Think Of Palmbux:

Renting and managing referrals with Palmbux is quite expensive. And I don’t like that their direct referral limit for Standards is just 25. I deleted almost 10 referrals because of this. And I don’t want to upgrade yet ’til I know they’ll be here for another year.

I love that they pay members instantly but for now, I don’t recommend upgrading or investing with Palmbux. Just continue clicking for them as a Free member. I’ll keep you posted if they’ve already passed my standards for a reliable site where you can invest.

Latest Updates:

11/05/2009:
They will be moving to a new server to fix problems with slow loading of their website. They’ll be down for about 2-3 days and they’ll just add this to memberships and referrals to compensate members.
