If you’ve been following this blog, you know that I made some changes with the layout and the theme. I have decided to revamp Pinay Online Money Maker because I believe that there is more to online money-making than meets the eye.

For some of us whose online earnings go through our Paypal accounts, managing that “virtual” cash may seem more difficult because of the convenience online shopping provides us. I am one of those who are guilty of spending too much money over the internet than I do offline, which is a terrible habit. And there is no one else to blame, but myself.

So, I decided to take control of my finances, both offline AND online. There is no excuse for me to not save money since the temptation to purchase should be of less intensity since online shopping means I don’t get to see and touch what I’m about to purchase. I understand now that saving money when buying online shouldn’t be an issue since there are hundreds or even thousands of ways for me to keep my online finances in check. I just need to know where to look for coupon codes online, discounted prices and other promos that I can take advantage of. And, of course, knowing how to spend money wisely, and save for my future and for a rainy day.

I have moved this blog to a new server along with new sites that I’m working on. I’ve been inspired by many people over the past weeks, which made me decide to take my online finances more seriously, especially because of the upcoming projects I’ll be busy with. I know that I’ve helped a lot of online money makers like me with my tutorials and guides from the past, and this time, I am aiming to also help in managing their online finances, so we can all maximize the money we earn over the internet. Obviously, from the name of this blog, you already know that I make money online. Though I now have a more formal job as a creative marketer for a US-based company, I still have other strategies and ways I make money at the comforts of our home. There’s blogging, graphics design, and website administration (yes, I’m juggling multiple jobs at once ).

The world is changing at such a pace that many of us are already working in jobs that didn’t even exist ten years ago or when we were at school. And the pace of development continues to quicken as new technologies, trends and opportunities emerge, meaning that today’s top ten growing industries bear little relation to the predictions made just a few years ago. Certainly for those willing to train, develop and flex their skills and abilities into growth markets the opportunities will be significant.

The Range of Opportunities
Whether you’re interested in managing correctional facilities or finding good hvac jobs (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), the new skills agenda requires great flexibility and a talent to learn fast and adapt. The ability to spot new opportunities and capitalise on them is also of prime importance to the investors and entrepreneurs of these new economies.

Top Technology Industries
In the future, VoIP jobs are like to grow rapidly, particularly with the advent of 4G and the huge increase in new subscribers to smart phones and wireless technology. Examples of jobs include systems analysts, technicians, engineers, technicians and many more.

E-commerce will also continue to grow, particularly in the field of online auctions. Statistics show huge growth in online sales in the past decade, vastly outperforming the majority of retail sales. Everything from solutions architects to designers, coders and client managers will be required to drive business forward.

Biotech is likely to grow, with the demand for medicines and other treatments burgeoning along with the growing and ageing population. The range of jobs in this field is huge and includes all the medical and scientific roles, along with the vast numbers of support and professional administrative staff required to manage and operate biotech and associated facilities and supply chains.

Legal and Insurance
Insurance claims adjusters are likely to be greatly in demand, particularly in the business sector, as businesses seek to hedge their liabilities and mitigate operational risks. At the same time, correctional facilities will continue to grow, particularly in the private-provision sector.

As ever, the opportunities are there for those that position themselves to capitalise on them – and the gains could be significant indeed. Better to align now to a growth sector, particularly for those with an entrepreneurial streak, rather than take a gamble on a dying or fading sector without the same opportunities for future growth.

On Online Contests : Part 1: Top Prizes I’ve Won So Far

In my last post back in April (oh my, it’s been that long?! ) about making money online through online contests, I have laid out some facts, reminders and tips about participating in these promos. I also shared my success stories and some outtakes while joining some of the contests over the web. So, if you haven’t read that post yet, click here. I bet I can convince you that joining online contests is fun. Think of all the free stuff you’d get!

Now, if my post about how you can make money online from joining online giveaways didn’t influence you enough, I’m hoping that with my next posts about this topic, I’d be able to encourage you to jump in and participate too. I’d be telling you about my experiences in joining contests, including the frustrations of not winning or being cheated in the hopes that you’d be better educated when you do join contests.

Professional Contest Joiners

I can’t really consider myself as a professional contest joiner. This title is usually given to those who have a dedicated blog, Facebook, Twitter or email account for participating in online giveaways and really spend most of their time (and, sometimes, even money) and wide network to enter.

Some giveaway hosts though frown upon the practices of these professional contest joiners that’s why they have strict qualifications for the participants. They’re also usually the ones who have multiple, fake or spam Facebook or Twitter accounts.

I’m not a hater. I know how fun it is to win something so I understand why they do what they do. There are many giveaway hosts who do not allow them to join in their giveaways so they can ensure they provide quality exposure to their sponsors.

Me and a friend were avid blog and Twitter followers of DJ Mo Twister of Magic 89.9. When we saw him hosting a giveaway, I jumped right in. It was a daily giveaway for a month, I think.
