Linkbucks is one of the many ways I make money online. If you have a blog, or you use social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace, you can use Linkbucks to make money online through the website links that you post or share with your friends. For bloggers, you can create a Full-page Linkbucks links that will automatically convert all outgoing links on your blog to Linkbucks links. Or, you can choose to only convert certain links.

Read my guide on how to setup Linkbucks and for more information so you can start and make money online with your blog or social networking sites.

Making money online through Linkbucks is pretty easy because you can set it up quickly on your blog or website, and you can also convert single links if you want to. They pay through Paypal and all payments are instant! As soon as you have $5.00 or higher, you can already request for payment.

Now, all I do is sit back and wait for my Linkbucks earnings to flow in as people click on outgoing links on my blogs. I’m pretty happy with their service so make sure you join Linkbucks now.

Reminder, though, for those who are in Paid Review sites: Make sure you put a LINK EXCLUSION on Linkbucks for the advertiser site that’s paying you for the blog post/review. Otherwise, your paid review/blog post might not be approved. This happened to me with Blogsvertise.

Make Money Online through Linkbucks – How to Setup Guide

If you notice on my blog, all outside links open in new windows and they all have this top bar with Linkbucks ads on it. This is another way that I make money online – through those Linkbucks ads.

What I love about Linkbucks is I have full control over which links would open in those windows with Linkbucks ads on top. I can choose if I only want outgoing links to be converted to Linkbucks links or if I want to include even the links within my blog.

Here are some basic info that you need to know about Linkbucks:

  • You earn money everytime your Linkbucks links are clicked.
  • You earn from $0.0001 and higher based on where your visitors are coming from. If majority of your visitors are from the US, you’d earn higher.
  • Minimum amount for payments is $5.00 through Paypal. All payments are INSTANT!
  • For referrals, you get 20% of your direct referrals’ earnings plus 10% for 2nd tier referrals, 2% for 3rd tier referrals.

Another way to use Linkbucks is to convert single links to Linkbucks links when you’re sharing them on social networking sites like Facebook or when you’re posting in forums, etc

Creating Single Linkbucks Links

Creating single links is much like when you shorten URLs through BIT.ly and TinyURL. Let me show you how to do it:

  1. Login to Linkbucks and click on the Create Links button/tab on the top of the page.
  2. Here are your options:
    • Landing Page Content is: Choose between Clean (All Ages) and Adult 18+
    • Ad Type: Choose between Intermission (the ad will appear first before the content), Top Banner (a top bar will appear on the window but visitors have the option to close that bar), Pop Up, and Short Link (which doesn’t really pay you so ignore this).

  3. After clicking on the Generate button, you’d see this at the bottom of the page. All you need to do now is copy and paste that new Linkbucks link so you can share it anywhere.

Creating Full-Page Linkbucks Links

This is the one I use on my blog because using the Single or Multiple links is tedious when you’ve got more than 10 links you wanted to convert on just 1 page of your blog. Plus, creating a full-page Linkbucks script will make everything automatic for you so you won’t have to edit all your links and convert them manually.

  1. On the Create Links page, click on the Full Page Script tab.
  2. You should have a page like this:

    Here are the options:

    • Link Group Name: In case you have multiple blogs like I do, then, you should name it based on which blog you’ll place the generated script.
    • Link Exclusion: Now, this is the tricky part. For example, here on my blog, I didn’t want any internal links to be converted to Linkbucks links so I added my blog’s address in there.
    • Target Option: You can indicate if you want the link to open in a new window or open in the same window where the link was posted. I suggest you choose Open in a New window.
    • Frequency Cap: You can set this to a certain # as the limit for the # of links that will be converted to Linkbuckss links on a certain page. I set it to 0 so all the outgoing links are converted.
  3. Click on Generate Javascript button and it will give you this:
  4. Copy all the text inside that box and go to your blog’s HTML, XML or template codes. Take note that if your blog is hosted on WordPress.com, you can’t really use this full-page script since you cannot edit WordPress.com CSS scripts. This is why I suggest you use Blogger instead of WordPress.com if you’re after free blog hosting.

I placed this Javascript right before the tag </body> on my blog’s template. And, voila! All outgoing links will be automatically converted to Linkbucks links.

What I love about converting my links to Linkbucks links is that I have full control over the links and the behavior of the ads like how they’ll show up, etc. This way, they’re not as distracting as other in-page or popup ads.

Now, all I need to do is sit back while I make money online through these Linkbucks links on my blog.
