It’s been raining for days and after finishing most of my important tasks today, I realized how lucky I am to be working from home while managing my own business. I no longer have to brace the heavy downpour and cold weather outside to get to the office. I only need my laptop and an internet connection to earn a living.
Because of the freedom I have enjoyed from being a work-at-home employee and businesswoman, I realized that this is how I want my life to be – I control my time and I make business decisions on my own. This is why I feel strongly, more than ever, to establish a much bigger business in the very near future that will be managed by my brother and mother. Our very own restaurant perhaps.
I consider myself a jack of all trades, but sadly, a master of none. A lot of my friends may disagree with that since some consider me an expert in different things. One thing I haven’t delved into yet is the world of sports, which I believe, based on the stories of successful businessmen like Neil Haboush (who can attest to how much golf affected him), can help me with self-discipline and being more committed to what I want to accomplish.
How about you? How are you driven to work more diligently? What inspires you?
