My last payment from Co.CC was back in August. Ever since I migrated Pinay Online Money Maker to WordPress, I wasn’t able to focus on gaining referrals for this free domain registration. So, it was only back in November that I got my second payment from Co.CC.
If you’re still not familiar with CO.CC, it’s a free domain registration site. But, there are only a few select co.cc domains that are offered for free. AND, you only get it free for the first year. But, still, if you’re setting up a blog for a certain event or short project, a free co.cc domain should do. You can start by searching for your Co.CC domain availability below.
I requested this payment on November 1, 2010. I got it in less than 5 days. The last time, I got paid in 6 days. Pretty good, I say.
Again, here are a few details about this affiliate program:
CO.cc pays you $0.10 for EACH free domain registration that you refer to them.
Minimum payment is only $1.00 and they pay through Paypal.
One of the third party advertising networks where I earn money online is Nuffnang. I love Nuffnang not because of the money I earn from them, but also because of the opportunities they give to their members (called Nuffnangers) to meet-and-greet and the awesome contests they hold from their advertisers. They even have freebies/giveaways to their member bloggers!
Nuffnang is Asia-Pacific’s first and leading blog advertising community. Advertisers can choose between a graphic- or animation-based advertisement. They have offices in 4 countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and here in the Philippines.
I joined their Glutamax "The New Me" blog-writing contest and I won a pack of Glutamax products. The winner took home an Apple Macbook! It was my first blogger event and I went home full and happy. I met a couple of bloggers, too. Read more about that event on Just Another Pixel.
So, now, let me share with you how you could join and make money from Nuffnang. It’s SO easy. What’s best is you get your earnings in our local currency (Philippine Peso) AND the advertisers are local companies. The chances of people clicking on those ads are way HIGHER so your earning potential is higher, too, of course.
Before the guide, here are some important information about Nuffnang that you need to know:
Minimum Payment: Php 2,000 for Nuffnangers in the Philippines
They do not pay out through Paypal. They would either mail you a check OR deposit it directly to your bank account. My first payment from Nuffnang was deposited to my Unionbank EON account.
They will charge you Php 20 every withdrawal or payment request. (Update)
You can add multiple blogs to your Nuffnang account to increase your earnings.
They have three (3) campaigns for bloggers and advertisers:
Cost Per Mile / Impression (CPM) campaign
Your earning potential here is based on your average unique visitors.
Bloggers are arranged into specific "blogger bands" based on the average unique visitors. The higher your blogger band is, the higher you earn PER ad that appears on your Nuffnang ad unit.
Here, you earn immediately when an ad is assigned to your blog. No unique clicks are necessary.
Cost Per Click (CPC) campaign
You earn through the unique clicks by your unique visitors on the ad that are running on your Nuffnang ad unit.
Your earnings will be credited and will reflect on your account 3 days after the CPC campaign ends.
In short, for this campaign, if the ad unit on your blog doesn’t generate clicks, you don’t earn anything.
MCPM (Metered CPM) campaign
In this campaign, an advertiser buys a set of unique visitors from your blog.
Buffered earnings will appear on your account. You will receive your full earnings from the campaign once you’ve reached the set unique visitors bought by the advertiser.
The ads are manually assigned to you. So, don’t be surprised if you don’t see any ads showing up for weeks.
Making money online with Nuffnang is very easy. I’m going to show you exactly how easy it is to setup Nuffnang ads on your blog and start earning immediately.
2. Once you’re done signing up, you can then go to the Blog Manager to add multiple blogs. On this page is where you can see and manage all your blogs that you’ve already added to your account.
