Influential Blogger and Digital Filipino head Janette Toral‘s yearly writing project, Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2010, has started last June 5th. This is a yearly event where they recognize blogs who are “gradually gaining a considerable amount of following and influence”. It’s a great opportunity for all bloggers out there to be known and possibly get lots of link love from their supporters.

I shamelessly nominated this blog – Pinay Online Money Maker – because I believe that I’ve been influential to a lot of people in their quests to making money online. Some people who didn’t believe that we can REALLY make money online have been convinced by my posts, my guides and payment proofs that I TRULY earn money online right in the comfort of my home.

I also believe that I’ve done my best to help out everyone who asks to the best of my ability and knowledge. Yes, I’m now campaigning in the hopes of getting your vote. *wink*

How do you vote?! All you need to do is list at least 5 blogs (try to at least make it 10 blogs) that you think are influential and were started from March 2009 ’til 3 months ago and post them on your blog. Then, submit the link to your blog post through the comment section on the writing project’s page.

Well, if you don’t really like me or my blogs (why?! *sniff*), you can still join this writing project. You can even get a chance to win $100 as they will pick 10 writing project entries at the end of the project. Plus, they’ll also pick one from the 10 to win an extra $100. Amazing, huh?

The cut-off date for submission of entries is on August 31st. So, might as well join now so the bloggers you nominate can still gain more votes before the deadline.

This is the last batch of payments I have queuing on Blogsvertise. So, that means I haven’t received any new paid opportunities for over a month now. I received one opportunity, actually, but, it was meant for US publishers only so I declined it.

Not sure why I haven’t gotten any new paid opps from them. It’s been really slow since April with the paid opportunities. I’m currently working on further improving my blogs’ traffic, so, let’s see if it’ll also affect the number of paid opps I get.

Palmbux has implemented higher fees when you withdraw earnings from them. According to them, it’s part of the 3-step program to bring back instant payments. I’m a bit skeptical about these changes, but, I guess we really have to see if what they’re saying is true. For now, I don’t recommend you upgrading or even investing in Palmbux.

Here’s my take on this 3-step program (read more details at their forums):

• For months, Palmbux has implemented cash flow regulation. According to them, it was because of the Anti-Money Laundering Act that affected their business. They said they implemented it to limit cashouts so they can continue to use Paypal as one of their payment processors.My take: I still believe that one of the reasons they implemented this cash flow regulation is to make it hard for members to withdraw their money. I’ll only believe them completely once they bring back instant payments for good.
• ADVERTISING FEE. They are now charging members advertising fees during withdrawals. According to them, this is to ensure that the cycle continues and members get more ads to click. They charge 10% for Paypal withdrawals, a whooping 16% for Alertpay. Crazy, right?!My take: This is like other PTC sites that require their members to invest before they can withdraw their earnings. I don’t like this at all. They claim that this should be all good since members will continue to have ads to click while still earning. But, 10% and 16% is freaking too much! They claim that Palmbux is bigger than any other site that’s why they have more tax restrictions and management values, which I completely doubt. So, I don’t really recommend investing with Palmbux.

What do you think of these changes they implemented on Palmbux? I don’t understand why a lot of members are happy with these updates. Let me know what you think, aight?

I made the mistake of testing out if Sponsored Reviews is strict with the link requirements and how they are inserted into the posts. They are. *LOL* So, I was marked down for that mistake. Now, I have 1 bad rating. I know, my bad. Won’t happen again. EVER.

If I had issues getting good paid opportunities before, because of that mistake, I might not get any more paid opps. I’m crossing my fingers and will try to bid for more opps. I’m saving up for something special so I hope I’d get more opps from Sponsored Reviews.
