Adgitize is one of the advertising networks that I highly recommend if you want to make money online through your blog or website. It’s quite easy to make money through Adgitize as a Publisher (blogger or owner of a website/page). Best thing about this is it’s free and they’re not strict with how and where you want to post your Adgitize ads.

Here are a couple of basic information or things that you should know about making money online through Adgitize as a Publisher:

• Adgitize uses a Point system where your points or credits will be converted to cash at the end of each day. How they compute it is dependent on the total # of points you accumulated in relation to all the points earned by ALL members. Here’s the computation taken from their FAQ:
  

  Can I earn cash with this program?
  A – Yes, at the end of each month your points are converted to cash. We take your total points divided by the total points earned by all members. Then that percentage is multiplied by the amount of money placed into the system available for the members. You are then paid that amount once a month.

  Will everybody be paid the exact same amount each month?
  A – No, your payout amount is dependent on the number of articles you write, clicks you place on other blogs ads, the amount of traffic you generate for your blog each month and the number of times your visitors click on our community ads on your blog.

  So, this means you need to be an active member of the Adgitize network for you to maximize your online earnings from them.

• There are 4 ways you can make money through Adgitize as a Publisher:
  • Earn Article Points
    - You are awarded 100 points for an article or blog post per day.
  • Earn Page View Points
    - All your blogs’ (with Adgitize ads) Page Views would be totaled and converted to points everyday.
  • Earn Ad View Points
    - All the Ad Views on all your blogs with Adgitize ads would be totaled and converted to points everyday. So, if you posted a 2×4 Adgitize ad group, 1 view of the whole ad group is equivalent to 8 Ad Views.
  • Earn Publisher Click Points
    - You are awarded 1 point per Adgitize ad you click on the network. You are limited to 100 click points per day.
• Once your Adgitize earnings reach the minimum of $10 for Paypal or $50 for check payments at the end of the month, expect to receive on the 20th of each month or 2nd-3rd week of the following month.NOTE: Members who request check payments would be charged $10 and it will be automatically deducted from the amount they’re requesting. This is for the processing fee. So, I strongly suggest you go for Paypal.
• You can also earn as an Adgitize Affiliate. Here’s a quote from their FAQ:
  

  How do I earn a bonus?
  A – You can earn a bonus by referring other bloggers to join the network and become an advertiser. When they join with you as a referrer then you earn a portion of their paid monthly advertiser fee for the first ad they place in the network. This can be as much as $5 for a one month ad. We pay out $3 on a 14 day ad and $2 on a 7 day ad. Each month you can earn $1 for ads placed on the network by advertisers you refer.

• You can add multiple blogs to your Adgitize account and you can post Adgitize ads on all of them so you can maximize your earnings from Adgitize.

As I’ve explained above, there are 5 easy ways you can earn through Adgitize as a Publisher. And, let me get into detail and share some tips on the first 4 ways I mentioned above.

Earn Article Points at Adgitize
Here are a few things you need to remember so you can earn the maximum Article Points on Adgitize:

• You need to be a blogger or own a website that has a working RSS feed to earn Article Points from Adgitize.
• When adding your blog to Adgitize, make sure you include the RSS feed of your blog. This way, Adgitize can detect if there’s a new article posted on your website/blog. Make sure that you test your RSS feed URL first.The most popular RSS feed burner is Google’s Feedburner. Simply sign up and submit your blog or website’s address and they’ll “burn” it for you.
• As much as possible, write one (1) article EVERYDAY so you can get the 100 points that is given daily.
• You are required to post at least 1 article every 90 days. But, c’mon! Post as much as you can so you can get more points!

Earn Page View Points at Adgitize

• If you’re getting a lot of traffic to your blog or website, then, you would get a lot more points everyday.
• If you’re struggling to get traffic to your blog or website, I suggest you read my article on how you can increase traffic to your blog or website.
• If you want to get more visits or page views of your blog or website, you can also post an ad through Adgitize. This would GUARANTEE you MORE traffic and page views.

Earn Ad View Points at Adgitize

• You are limited to post 10 Adgitize ads ONLY on each of your blog or website. So, maximize this!
• If you have 10 Adgitize ads on your blog/website, every page view would equal to 10 points. So, again, maximize the # of Adgitize ads you post on your blog/website. Try to position them with careful thought so as not to irritate your actual visitors.

Earn Publisher Click Points at Adgitize

• Everytime you click on an Adgitize ad on the network, you earn 1 click point.
• Where to find the Adgitize ads you can click?
  You can actually start clicking one of the ads on the Adgitize ad group you posted on your blog/website. Then, you can click on the Adgitize ads on the advertiser’s website, and so on.Another place where you can find a list of Adgitize members with Adgitize ads on their blog/website is to login to the Adgitize site and go to Reports -> Under the column Publishers, click on Blogs Not Clicked Today, as shown below:

  

• IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure you are logged into Adgitize‘s website and you leave the window open otherwise, you’d be logged out and you won’t be credited for your Ad Clicks.
• What I do is I click or view 3-5 Adgitize members’ sites and click on ads on their sites one by one. But, this doesn’t really make it faster for me because I always get caught up with the blogs I see. I’m actually a subscriber of a few of the Adgitize members whose blogs I liked.

Why You Should Advertise on Adgitize

• Mainly because you also earn more money from Adgitize because you get more traffic, page views and ad views on your blog or website. You can even utilize Adgitize‘s ad network to earn more through other 3rd Party Ad Networks such as Google Adsense and Bidvertiser without worrying about your account getting suspended. It’s a “legit” way of increasing traffic to your blog.
• The prices for advertising are as follows:
  • 7 Day Ad – $7.00 USD
  • 14 Day Ad – $10.00 USD
  • One Month Ad – $14.00 USD

  All payments for ads are processed through Paypal. In my opinion, this is a very good deal!

• You can select to use a 125×125 OR a 468×60 banner for your Adgitize advertisement.
• All advertisements would go through the Admin’s approval, which could take up to 10 hours.
• Once you have advertised, you get bonus Page View and Ad Click points so you won’t have to complete the 100 click points in a day. You only need to click 51 Adgitize ads.

December 23-26, 2009:

• HyBux is still down until now. According to them, Paypal limited their account on December 4th and they haven’t done anything yet to fix this problem. No updates yet from the admin if the site will come back. Thus, I am removing HyBux from my recommended PTC sites list.
• I still cannot withdraw or request for payment from PalmBux. This is extremely frustrating for me. They claim that members need to wait ’til their site resets at 12mn GMT. And that’s around 7am here in the Philippines so that’s going to be hard for me to stay up or wake up early just to withdraw my payment from them. I really hope this gets fixed very soon. I will try to withdraw at 7am here to see if it’ll really work or this is just another stint to keep the members from quitting and leaving the site.By the way, the v3 of PalmBux site is up and running but for me, it didn’t really help because it slowed their site’s loading time on my end.
• Earn.Bz is now allowing members to sell their active referrals. Read this forum thread about this update. I kinda find the price they offer ($0.10 per referral) really cheap so I don’t think I’d be interested in selling my active refs to them. I hope they’d increase the price they’re buying active refs so more members would be inclined to sell.

If you are interested in advertising your website, referral link or blog with Paid to Click (PTC) sites or you have existing advertising points or ad credits on your PTC sites (because of an upgrade) with them, here’s a guide on how to use them.

If you need traffic to your website, advertising or promoting it through PTC sites might be the thing for you. Take note, though, that most PTC members don’t actually stay on the advertiser’s websites because they usually just care about the timer ending and getting credited for the view/click. If you need to seriously advertise, you can use Bidvertiser or Adgitize for cheaper rates than Google AdWords.

The PTC sites that I’ll be featuring as examples are TheClickers and PPlinx. Most Aurora sites have the same process of using your advertising points or credits so this should help make it easy for you to use them up.

First of all, there are different advertising credits that you can use to promote your site on a PTC site:

Let me explain some of them that you would need to promote your site:

• Exchange Credits – You can use this to promote your links/websites through the PTC site’s Click Exchange, where members visit advertiser sites continuously and earn Exchange points by doing so.
• PTC Credits – You can use this to promote through the PTC site’s main Click Ads section, where members earn money by clicking on ads and viewing the advertiser’s website for a couple of seconds.
• Email Credits – You can use this to promote through the Read Email section of the PTC site. This is where you can write an introduction to your website first before having the members view your site.
• PTSU Credits – PTSU stands for Paid to Sign Up. You can use this credit to promote your affiliate links where you need people to sign up. This is manual, though. You need to manually accept or reject members who sign up under your PTSU ad to ensure that only valid signups get credited.
• Banner Credits – You can use this to promote your website using a 468×60 banner. No texts would be included, only the banner. So, make sure your banner’s attractive to make members click on it to actually visit your website. Lastly, you need to upload your banner to an image host like ShareAPic (where you can also earn money for views of your photos).

Now, let me show you how to use your PTC credits. The process is almost the same for the others. For this guide, I’ll be using TheClickers process and forms:

1. Go to the My Account page. On the left menu, click on Manage Ads, as shown below.
   
   

2. Click on the dropdown menu on the next page and select which one you want to manage. For this example, I selected PTC Ads. After making your selection, click on the Manage button.
3. As you can see, I have used up my PTC Ads credits before so I have a couple of them already listed on the next page. Now, since we’re assuming it’s your first time doing this, click on the Create New Ad button on the right side.
4. Now, simply fill up the form.
   Here are a few notes on the fields on this form:
   - Set the Target Country. If your site is aimed for a particular country, select the country then. Otherwise, leave it at All Countries so everyone can see your ad.
   - Daily Limit – This is if you want to limit the amount of credits you want to use in a day. This way, you’d have more credits for the next day to keep your ads alive for a longer time. Take note, though, that if the limit has been reached, any members viewing the list of ads won’t see your link anymore. Set this limit wisely.
   - Premium Members only. Well, it’s self-explanatory. If you only want Premium members to see your ads, then, check this box.

   Make sure, too, that your ad or website you’re promoting doesn’t violate the Terms of Use by the PTC Site. Most of them don’t allow adult sites to promote on their site so take note of that.

5. After clicking on Add Link, you’ll be given the updated list of PTC Ads you have available. Now, to add credits that you want to assign to that PTC Link ad, click on ADD link on the right side, as shown below:
6. On the next page, you’d be asked if you want to use your Account Link Credits or you want to Purchase Credits. For this guide, we’ll select Account Link Credits.
   I no longer had Link credits available so ignore that 0.00000 value.
   
7. Fill up the next form with the # of Credits you want to use. For the Hit Value, you can select how long you want the member to stay on your website before they can close it and get credited. If you want to get more traffic, select the cheapest and shortest among the options.
   Then, click on Add Credits.

That’s it! As soon as you hit Add Credits, your Link Ad would be UP and LIVE so you can check that by going to the list of PTC Ads/View Ads link.

I am close to withdrawing my Google Adsense earnings and I have selected the Western Union option because it’s very convenient, secure and faster.

Now, how do you select this payment option to withdraw your Google Adsense earnings? Follow these steps:

Important Reminder:
To prevent any issues when you withdraw your Google Adsense earnings through Western Union, make sure that the name on your Google Adsense account and on the photo IDs that you would present when you claim your money are THE SAME. Otherwise, contact Google Adsense to change it or check out this page.

1. Login to your Google Adsense account.
2. Click on the My Account tab.
3. On your Account details page, scroll down ’til you see Payment Details.
   Then, click on the Edit link.
4. On the next page, select Setup Western Union Quick Cash and click on Continue.
   
5. On the next page, you will see a confirmation page with details on what you need to know about the Western Union Quick Cash payment option. Now, make sure that the Current Payee Name has the same name as shown on your photo IDs that you would present when you claim your money from the Western Union agent nearest you.
   Enter your First Name and Last Name then check “I agree that I have a government issued ID that matches the contact name above.” unless you don’t have a government-issued ID.

   Click on Save Changes and you will be brought back to the Account details page.

That’s it! Now, you can easily pick up your Google Adsense earnings from the nearest Western Union branch.
If you don’t know of any Western Union branches near you, use this Western Union agent/branch locator.

Take note that most Western Union branches are very strict with withdrawals. So, here are a few things you need to do and bring before you pickup your Google Adsense earnings:

1. Call up the Western Union branch first before you go there so you can ask them if they offer the Quick Cash service. This way, it’ll save you a lot of time of going to and from different Western Union branches looking for a branch that offers Quick Cash. From my inquiries, most of the Western Union branches near my location here in the PH offer this already so I guess it would be pretty easy for you to find one, too.
2. Bring at least 3 government-issued photo identification cards (IDs) with you, if possible. Most Western Union branches only require 2 but if you’re withdrawing a huge amount of money, I suggest you bring more if you have them. If not,For Pinoys like me, among the government-issued IDs that they accept are:
   - Driver’s license (bring the OR with you)
   - SSS (Social Security System) ID
   - BIR (TIN) card/ID
   - Postal ID
   - Voter’s ID
   - Passport
3. Make sure you know how much you are picking up or how much Google Adsense sent you. If you answer incorrectly, Western Union might not let you withdraw the money.To check how much payment you would be claiming, go to the Payment History page on your Google Adsense account. I suggest you print it out for your reference.
4. You need the unique Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) which you can find by clicking on the details link next to the Payment Issued line on your Payment History page.Here’s where you can see the information (Click on image to zoom). You can see this under My Account > Payment History:
   
   

   After you click on details link, you will see this:

   
   I already picked up my Adsense payment when I took this screenshot so it already displays a “Date Picked-up”. I suggest you print this one up and bring it when you claim your money.

5. You also need to provide the sender’s information to the Western Union agent so take note of this:

   Print it out or write it for your convenience.

6. When you get to the Western Union branch, simply ask for the form To Receive money. Fill it up with the required information, including the ones mentioned in #s 3, 4 and 5.Here’s a sample form that I filled up when I withdrew my first Google Adsense earnings.

   

That’s it! Now, make sure you claim your payments as soon as possible. Google says if the money is unclaimed in 60 days, they will credit it back to your account. But, I mean, c’mon. Withdraw it as soon as possible!
