Updated List of PTC Scam Sites

Because of the nature of Paid to Click sites, it’s easy for some people to setup a PTC site and scam members. But, thankfully, there are still a lot of PTC sites that have stayed online and maintained their site through the help of their members.

Almost all my highly recommended PTC sites are the ones that have been online and paying their members the longest so I suggest you join them first before any other PTC sites. Check my complete list of trusted & paying money-making programs.

Here are tips on how you can spot a SCAM SITE.

Also, read the Scam Alerts section of this blog for the latest sites that you should avoid. If you want me to check out a certain PTC site for you, leave a comment below and I’d be happy to check them out for you.

PTC SCAM SITES

This list is compiled by me. I used to be a member of these sites… until they disappeared and/or stopped paying members. I’ll keep this updated for you. Latest additions are listed first.

Cash-Swing (www.cashswing.com) – added on 02/07/2011
I should’ve added them to the list way earlier. The site went down and never returned. I did get paid by them and I was pretty surprised they’re gone for good.

TheClickers (www.theclickers.net/ptc), VelvetClix (velvetclix.com) and Cash-Harvest (cash-harvest.com) – added on 9/8/2010. I have pending payment since July 2010 and TheClickers suddenly disappeared without any notification to their members. TheClickers also owns VelvetClix and Cash-Harvest so they are all added to the PTC scam sites list. For more details, read my post about them here.

PalmBux (www.palmbux.com) – added on 8/28/2010 After claiming that their Paypal account has been frozen for the second time, PalmBux has decided to let the members know what exactly is happening.

Astrobux (www.astrobux.com) – added on 01/02/2010
Paypal also limited their account and the admin got tired of the chargebacks and gave up. It was all too sudden. There were issues with their site but not really much effort from the admin to resolve the issue. More details on their admin’s post on this News and Updates post.

HyBux (www.hybux.com) – added on 12/26/2009
Their account has been limited by Paypal and it’s over 3 weeks now and they haven’t fixed this yet. Not enough effort from the admin so I’m placing them here.

NoClickNoBux (www.noclicknobux.com) – added on 12/16/2009
Their domain suddenly got suspended and the admin didn’t even warn the members about it.

LinxSense (www.linxsense.com) – added on 12/06/2009
The admin announced in their forums on 11/29/2009 that their Paypal account was set to limited and their Alertpay account was next. They said they can no longer maintain the site, especially because they can’t afford DDoS protection. A lot of members willingly donated and some offered further help but the admin didn’t coordinate with those people and now has abandoned the site. Their domain whois is also locked. Read more details here.

Bux.GS (www.bux.gs) – added on 11/25/2009
The admin (Sergio) announced in the forums that his Paypal account was suspended 2 weeks ago. No updates yet about what he’s planning to do with the site. Now, please take note that Bux.gs’ admin Sergio also owned b-u-x.net, paidclix.ws, and 10bux.net that all ended up as scam sites and stopped paying their members. Now, he’s opened a new Bux site -Bux.io. This admin will continue to do this AGAIN and AGAIN until people stop joining his PTC sites. So, please, STOP JOINING! I used to click for Bux.gs but I eventually stopped after knowing that this is happening.

TakeTheGlobe (www.taketheglobe.com)
This has got to be the biggest scammer of all sites… after Bux.To. I’ve got about $50+ with them that I wasn’t able to cash out anymore. They closed down the site claiming that they’re moving to a new server, with a new version to their PTC site. But, after months of waiting, their site is no longer up.

PerformanceBux (www.performancebux.com)
I actually received a couple of payments from them and I had high hopes for this PTC site. But, I had some doubts that they can stay online after seeing all the discounts and promos they’re giving out to members. And, i was right. Too bad. Oh well. They were another instant paying sites so it was a loss for me.

Payee.Me & 247Bux
Owned by the same person. 247Bux stopped paying members and pretended to set a daily limit of members who can cash out everyday. And they were claiming that Payee.me would be a better site than 247Bux. Nah. I don’t think so.

DailyCent
They were claiming that their payments are instant but after waiting for weeks, I didn’t receive any money from them.

ThinkBux & RoudyCash
I thought they were close to being a successful PTC site as Neobux but damn, I was wrong. I never received any payments from them and they kept on blabbering about how they’re going to fix problems for their members, blah blah blah. Where are they now? Nowhere to be found..
Also, I found out that RoudyCash was owned by the same person who owns ThinkBux. Hah!

AdAndEl
I also had high hopes for AdAndEl but after their forums went down without any explanation from them, I knew they’d end up on my scam list.

IdealBux
I had my doubts with them but tried to brush it off because I saw people getting paid. But, when the admin cancelled my payment request, everything went downhill from there. They suddenly required everyone to invest before they get paid. No, thanks!

Bux.To
I don’t know how this PTC site is still up and running. And I can’t believe that there are still people believing in this site. I mean, c’mon. 1 year of waiting for your payment?!?! You get your payments instantly with Neobux. Why not invest all your energy with them? But, wait, I guess all those posters on their forums are all connected to Bux.To and its owner. There were indeed people who got paid but damn. 1 year is too long to wait for your payment… after you’ve upgraded to Premium, when you should be getting your money within 30 days according to their TOS. Dang!

TheRichCash
Same owner as MainBux, which is a scam site.

  • Karan

Well , I did get paid from allstarbux.com. The problem is that I paid for the lower membership, qualified for payment, waited 20 days and received only two $50.00 payments. Now, the problem, these were (fixed) maximum payments. A person is to receive $1000 payout, but that will not happen. Well, I made my investment back plus $13.00 profit. Can’t say they don’t pay, but still not what you would expect after so many weeks of clicking. Now, admin wants people to upgrade to continue payouts. This is a bummer.
