Introduction to PTC Sites – How to Earn Basics

If you’re not yet familiar with Paid-to-Click (PTC) programs, then, let me provide you some information that you’ll need to start earning from PTC sites.

Just by the term itself, you earn from PTC sites by clicking on ads and viewing advertiser websites for a couple of seconds. It’s a pretty simple task, right?

Well, you don’t get paid that much either. Most of the ads you’ll view are worth $0.01 or less.

Alright, don’t get discouraged just yet. Read on before deciding to leave my blog. *wink*

Considering the short time that you’ll spend clicking for different PTC sites, it’s actually worth it. Trust me, it is. I’ve been a PTC member since last year and it was all worth it.

Earning from PTC sites doesn’t require extensive time or effort. You can do it during your break at work, or when you get home from school or office. I do my clicking for approximately 10-20 minutes daily because of the numerous sites I’ve joined. But, it’s all up to you if you want to join all my recommended PTC sites. If you prefer to click for just a few of them, that’s okay. At least that way, you can ensure that you won’t miss any clicks.

There are also numerous ways you can earn from PTC sites. Most PTC sites I featured on this blog offer other means of earning. They have Paid-to-Read (PTR) emails, affiliate or referral programs, and more. You can get more info on how you can earn from each PTC site on my PTC site reviews.

It’s very easy to join any PTC site. They just have a couple of requirements and you’re off to go!

Basic Requirements when joining PTC Sites
  1. Valid email address. It can be from web-based email providers such as Yahoo! or Gmail. I suggest you sign up with Gmail as emails get to them faster, from my experience.
  2. Alertpay or Paypal account. I suggest you sign up with Paypal first. You need a valid email address to sign up with these 2 payment processors.Take note that some PTC sites require a VERIFIED Paypal/Alertpay account to join. Make sure you read the TOS. Most of them, though, only require a verified account when purchasing from them.

  3. Fill up the membership form with ACCURATE information ONLY, especially when dealing with PTC sites that do not pay instantly. Make sure your name, birthday (if they ask for it) and everything else is accurate and correct.

That’s simple, right? Now, before you go joining PTC sites, there are things you need to remember to prevent any problems with your account (other people hacking your account, getting suspended, etc.). Make sure you read the PTC site’s Terms of Use (TOS) as the policies below are just general rules and reminders. Some PTC sites might have different policies.

General PTC Sites’ Rules/Policies to Note
  1. To prevent other people from hacking your account, make sure that the email address that you use when joining PTC sites is secure. And also your email address for your Alertpay and Paypal accounts.

I suggest using a different email address when joining then simply enter your Alertpay or Paypal address in the membership form or when you’re about to withdraw your earnings.

  2. DO NOT use the same password for your PTC sites. I don’t think I need to explain this any further but I will. Most important reason is to prevent other people from easily hacking into your account. One example is when you joined a PTC site and their site was actually a scam site, then, they can simply login your other PTC site accounts to get your balance. This is why I like Neobux and Palmbux because of their Secondary Password feature.
  3. DO NOT create multiple accounts. Only cheaters do that. Some PTC sites are okay with multiple accounts in 1 household but all of those accounts will only share the number of ads available daily. Again, read the TOS.
  4. DO NOT click and open 2 or more ADS at one time. Why? First, because their system would think you’re a cheater or a bot. Second, you won’t get any credits if you click and open more than 1 ad for 1 PTC site. You can open all your PTC sites all at one time but only 1 ad per PTC site should be opened.
  5. READ the anti-cheater instruction before you get credited. This is usually located at the top of the page. Read it carefully because some of them are very tricky. Most of the instructions will ask you to click on something to make sure that you’re not a bot or an auto-clicker.Below is an example from TheClickers PTC:

You won’t be credited if you clicked on the wrong number.
  6. READ the anti-cheater questions. They’re very strict with this so make sure you answer correctly or else your account would be automatically banned or suspended for cheating or botting.
  7. READ the ADS before you click on them. Why? Because there are a few PTC sites who check if their members are actually reading the ads. They put links with titles like “If you click on this, your account will be reset to ZERO.”I was a victim (please don’t laugh, heehee) of this when Bomblogic put up a clickable link with a description/title similar to that. It was my fault, I know. I got all excited ‘coz I barely get any ads from Bomblogic ‘coz I’m still a standard member. Good thing the admin took action quickly when I sent them an email about what happened. Hehehe.
  8. You can only request 1 payment at a time. This is a very important reminder to those who are planning on getting a lot of referrals or upgrading. Make sure you read the TOS.
  9. Post your payment proofs at their forums. A lot of PTC sites require this (check my PTC site reviews) before you can request or receive your next payment. For me, it’s a very simple requirement. It helps the PTC site gain more members as they’ll be seen as a trusted PTC site.

PTC Sites for Dummies – A Newbie Guide

After you’ve joined a couple or all of my Recommended PTC Sites, here’s a quick Newbie guide to help you in navigating certain PTC sites.

Quick Guide:
1. Look for the Paid Ads or View Ads link.
2. Click on the links one at a time. A new window will popup on every ad you click.
3. Wait for the timer or the anti-cheater instruction on the top and follow it.
4. After it gives you a Check mark, Okay or Done, close that new window and go back to the list of ads and click on another ad.
5. Once you reach the minimum amount for withdrawal/payout, you can withdraw your money to your Paypal or Alertpay account or invest it on other PTC sites.

Guide to AURORA PTC Sites
(TheClickers PTC, Cash-Harvest, VelvetClicks, Egyptian Clicks, CashSwing)

1. Turn on Paid Emails.
Most of these PTC sites offer Paid Emails so we need to make sure we have that setting turned on. It’s also one way for you to earn from these sites. Here’s how to enable it:

a. Once you’re logged in, click on Preferences on the menu (most of the time, it’s on the left side). If you can’t see it, look for and click on My Account link.

b. You’ll see options on the right, including Paid Emails. Default setting for this is it’s turned off so simply click on Turn ON.

2. Where to find the Paid Ads?
Click on the link Earnings Area. It will list all offers from the site where you can earn money from.

Here’s an example from Cash-Harvest:

As you can see, you can earn from clicking on links, surf links/sites, read ads, signing up, click exchange (every visit you make, you earn 1 advertising credit or visit which you can use to advertise your blog/website) and by promoting their site.
Simply click on all those links to maximize your earnings daily.

3. How much will you earn for each Ad or Link you view/click?
For Aurora sites, they have ads that earn you up to $0.01 per click or view – usually, $0.001 or even less. However, most of the time, you’ll see links that will only earn you points that you can exchange for traffic to your site or ad credits to the PTC site.

Here’s an example from CashSwing:

On the Earning column, that’s what you’ll earn when you’re done clicking and viewing the specified ads.

4. How to Withdraw?
Go to My Account and click on Withdraw. There it will show you the minimum payout balance you should have before you can withdraw. Also, it will show you the processing fee (if applicable) when you withdraw.

Guide to BUX PTC Sites
NeoBux, PalmBux, BuxGS, Bux-Matrix

1. Where to find the Ads?

NeoBux: Once you’re logged in, click on the View Advertisements link on the upper right of the site. It will show you the # of ads available for you to click.

PalmBux: Click on View Ads on the top menu bar.

BuxGS: Click on SURF on the top menu bar.

Bux-Matrix: Click on Browse Ads on the top menu.

2. How to Rent Referrals or Upgrade your Account?

NeoBux:
Click on your login name or username on the top right part of the screen. It will show you your account details page. Under your username, you’ll see these buttons:

Just hover your mouse on each of them to know where they lead to. *grin*

PalmBux:
Click on Purchase on the lower menu. There you’ll see Rent Referrals and Upgrade links.

BuxGS:
Click on Buy/Rent Refs on the upper menu. To Upgrade, click on the Upgrade button just below that.

Bux-Matrix:
On the Ads page, click on your username on the top part of the page to go to your account details page. There you’ll see the link to upgrade your account or to rent referrals.

My other recommended PTC sites that weren’t mentioned here have pretty much the same navigation menu or sections so it’s going to be easy for you to access the Paid Ads, where to upgrade or rent referrals. If you have questions, please post a comment here and I’ll get to you as soon as I can.

Sponsored Reviews Payment Proof – $9.75 on 08/19/2009

Making money through Sponsored Reviews is easy for bloggers like me. You just bid on a certain task and if you get approved, you’re given 7 days to post that paid review on your blog. Plus, they also have an affiliate program where you can earn more money. Read my review about Sponsored Reviews here.

If you check my payment proofs below, you’d see that I’m actually getting paid really good for each blog post. Take note that each of these payments were only for one blog post each because I don’t do it more than once a month because I still want to make sure my readers are not irritated by paid blogs. Yes, most of them know if it’s a paid blog or not.

I was busy with the opening of our internet cafe so it took me awhile to work on another paid blog.
